Class is in session for The Boys spin-off Gen V. The series’ first trailer teases a bloody freshman year at Godolkin University.
The Boys isn’t a show that ever pulled its punches when it came to gore, and it seems as though that trend isn’t stopping with its spin-off series Gen V. The first trailer introduces fans to Marie Moreau, played by Jaz Sinclair, a freshman at Godolkin University who can literally control blood. The trailer only gets crazier from there, featuring puppet murder, exploding genitals, and gore galore! The full trailer can be seen below:
Led by The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Jaz Sinclair, The Boys spin-off Gen V is set at a college for young adult superheroes, Godolkin University, run by Vought International. The series “explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s top ranking,” according to an official description from Amazon.

The cast of Gen V also includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert and Jason Ritter. Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie and P.J. Byrne are also on board, reprising thei roles from The Boys.

In addition to Gen V, Amazon is also working on the fourth season of The Boys. Season three introduced Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Homelander’s equally dangerous biological father, and saw Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher and Jack Quaid’s Hughie starting to use Temp-V, a variant of Compound V that grants the user temporary superpowers.
