After The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had to pause filming due to the pandemic, it’s been revealed when the Disney Plus series will resume filming.

Marvel fans have been desperate to see the shows heading to Disney Plus within the next year, but they’ll have to wait a little longer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which is set to restart filming later this year. The European Union recently announced a U.S. travel ban as the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise, but individual countries can make special exceptions for business travel. Head of the Czech Film Commission Pavlova Zipkova told The Hollywood Reporter “Filmmakers of all nations are welcome in the Czech Republic” after the country approved travel for film and TV productions.

While other productions across the world have been stalled because of the travel ban, THR revealed The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will resume filming in the Czech Republic this Fall. Anthony Mackie recently praised the series, calling it a six-hour movie. The stars were working on the series in Prague when the filming was put on hold, but the studio is preparing a return for a nine-day shoot in the country.
