The Flash boss Eric Wallace wants a reunion between Ezra Miller and Grant Gustin after the two shared the screen in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event saw Barry Allen actors Grant Gustin and Ezra Miller meeting on the small screen thanks to DC’s Multiverse concept. Gustin plays the Arrowverse version of Barry on The CW while Miller portrays the character in the DC Extended Universe movies, so the moment was quite a surprise, to say the least.

The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace recently sat down with DiscussingFilm and talked about Ezra Miller’s Arrowverse cameo. When asked about another potential on-screen meeting between The Flash actors Grant Gustin and Ezra Miller, Wallace had the following to say:

“I would love to see Grant appear somewhere in their version of the film. Say I said, “You know what? I’ll give you a couple of weeks off easy now.” I don’t know if they’ll do that, but I’m putting it out there. Because I know Grant would be excited. I think he would have some fun. I also told Ezra, with open arms, we would welcome him back. I would love to have him back for longer, for a full episode of The Flash, if we can somehow make it happen. Schedules are so tough. He’s a very busy man. He has not just The Flash franchise, but other franchises too. So I don’t know how possible it is, but I do know it’s not impossible because we proved it in Crisis when we saw the two Flashes together. So I’m going to be hopeful and I’m going to put that energy out there. Hopefully someday sooner, rather than later, we will see those two Flashes of Ezra and Grant together and for anybody reading this article, I am happy to help accommodate in any way possible.”

Wallace was then asked if there have been any conversations regarding a reunion between the two Barry Allen actors:

“No, no. I wish. Trust me, I wish.”

At last month’s DC FanDome, DC’s Jim Lee confirmed a theory that that Ezra Miller’s The Flash was given his iconic superhero name by Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen. Miller is set to reprise his role as the Fastest Man Alive in a standalone film from Andy Muschietti, the director behind the recent It movies. He’ll be joined by Batman actors Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

Meanwhile, Grant Gustin’s The Flash is set to return next year on The CW. Here’s the official synopsis for The Flash season seven:

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry’s life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with superspeed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash. After a thrilling cliffhanger last season which saw the new Mirror Master (Efrat Dor) victorious and still-at-large in Central City, The Flash must regroup in order to stop her and find a way to make contact with his missing wife, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton).

With help from the rest of Team Flash, which includes superheroes Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), and Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh), as well as the Flash’s adoptive father Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Meta-Attorney Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), tough cub reporter Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton) and brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight)… Flash will ultimately defeat Mirror Master. But in doing so, he’ll also unleash an even more powerful and devastating threat on Central City: one that threatens to tear his team—and his marriage—apart.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon / Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.

The Flash will return on The CW in 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Riverdale star KJ Apa and Grant Gustin’s The Flash, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
