The Flash star Ezra Miller has reached a plea deal with prosecutors which will allow the 30-year-old actor to avoid jail time for breaking into a Vermont home and stealing alcohol.

According to VTDigger which first reported the news, Miller will plead guilty to a single charge of unlawful trespass.

Miller will have a change of plea hearing this Friday in Bennington County Superior criminal court. As part of the plea deal with prosecutors, Miller will avoid jail and be placed on probation for a year. The actor will also receive a $500 fine.

Ezra Miller was charged with burglary into an occupied home and petit larceny back in August. As reported at the time, the Flash star was accused of breaking into a residence in Vermont and stealing several bottles of alcohol. The incident occurred on May 1st while the homeowners were not present.

Last year, Ezra Miller released a statement addressing the troubling allegations made against them. “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life,” Miller said at the time.

The future of The Flash

A recent report revealed that Warner Bros. insiders are extremely excited for the release of The Flash, which opens on June 16, 2023. In fact, WB executives haven’t been this hopeful about a comic book-related release since the Dark Knight movies from Christopher Nolan.

The Flash is testing through the roof right now, with Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle said to be among the highlights of the movie. “Almost everything about The Flash points to a massive summer sensation,” according to insiders.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash is inspired by the Flashpoint comic book storyline, which followed Barry Allen as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles.
