Lewis Pullman is getting the drip in Thunderbolts! A new look at the actor has been revealed as a description of his Sentry suit hits the net.
Fans have quickly warmed up to Thunderbolts ever since the first trailer dropped. At first, many considered it a waste of time meant to cash in on the success of The Suicide Squad franchise. Now it’s one of the most hyped releases on Marvel’s calendar, thanks in no small part to Lewis Pullman. While the actor is officially stated to be playing Bob, all signs point to him being the live-action debut of the beloved hero Sentry.
Marvel seems to know how excited fans are for Lewis Pullman’s role in the film. As the year comes to an end, the studio released a new still from Thunderbolts to Entertainment Weekly, with the focus being solely on Bob. While he’s yet to don his actual suit as Sentry, the color scheme of his clothes gives fans all they need to know about the film’s biggest twist.

Lewis Pullman’s Sentry Suit In Thunderbolts
Yet while Marvel is keeping Lewis Pullman’s costume close to their chest, the rumor mill has managed to dredge up some key details. The latest scoop from MyTimeToShineHello gives fans a description of Sentry’s suit in Thunderbolts. It seems that Marvel will be modernizing the outfit in some ways, while still keeping the core look intact.
“The material has a metallic sheen. Key features of the suit include a Collar and Chest: A high, black collar contrasts with the gold of the suit, extending into black accents around the shoulders and upper chest.”
“The belt has a large circular buckle with an embossed ‘S’ design in gold and black. The golden suit extends down the legs, with reinforced black knee and shin guards that blend seamlessly into black boots. These boots look sturdy and add a practical, armored touch.”
While perhaps a tad less blue than some of Sentry’s costumes in the comics, it does seem as though Marvel tried to keep things as close as possible to the original illustrations as possible in Thunderbolts. It’s not likely Lewis Pullman will be seen in the suit prior to the release of the film, but that means it’ll be all the sweeter when he’s finally strutting his stuff on the silver screen!
