‘Loki’ Star Tom Hiddleston Becomes The Joker For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ In New Fan Art

From the God of Mischief to the Clown Prince of Crime.

A creepy new fan edit transforms Loki star Tom Hiddleston into The Joker for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

Although Tom Hiddleston has made a name as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this cool artwork imagines the actor as the next Clown Prince of Crime to battle Robert Pattinson in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. A recent rumor suggested that Reeves is currently looking to include the Joker in the sequel to the upcoming Batman reboot, but that has yet to be confirmed. Regardless, that hasn’t stopped the internet from picking their favorite actors for the role, with the Loki star being the latest option.

The artwork was created by a digital artist known as ‘bryanzapp’ on Instagram and shows Loki star Tom Hiddleston as The Joker with a maniacal grin on his face. His facial expression alone is fairly similar to that of The Man Who Laughs film which inspired the villain’s creation, and he also looks like a creepier version of Caesar Romero’s Joker from the 1966 Batman show. Fans already know Hiddleston can handle a complex villain role well, so it would be fascinating to see the Loki actor get a shot at the Joker in a sequel to The Batman. Take a look at the artwork below.

Do you think Loki star Tom Hiddleston would make a good Joker? Are you excited for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman? Sound-off in the comments!

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under wraps, but the movie will be centered on Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. The film is also expected to be the first installment to a new trilogy with Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The  Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, and make sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more content!
