Tom Holland Says ‘Spider-Man 3’ Is ‘Absolutely Insane’

Tom Holland calls the story for Spider-Man 3 “absolutely insane” in a new interview.

Although Spider-Man’s future was briefly up in the air following Sony and Disney renegotiating their deal, it seems like Tom Holland is incredibly excited to start working on his third solo film as the Web-Slinger. He recently spoke to the Philippine Daily Inquirer in an interview for his role in Onward, and explained that after Spider-Man 3, he isn’t sure what the plan is for his appearance in other Marvel movies. However, he told the interviewer that the story for the film is “absolutely insane.”

The star also revealed that he starts work on the third Spider-Man film this July in Atlanta, but he isn’t sure what the plans are for any future Marvel appearances. Tom Holland went on to confirm that Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ and but he’s not sure how the relationship between the pair will develop further in the sequel. “I’m super happy about it. We will be shooting Spider-Man 3 in July in Atlanta. As for me showing up in other Marvel movies, I’m not sure as to what they want me to do. Zendaya will most definitely be in the film. As to the relationship between Peter and MJ, I’m not too sure what it will be.”
