UFC Boss Dana White Admits Talks To Make Justin Bieber Vs. Tom Cruise Fight Happen Have Been Held

UFC President Dana White has officially confirmed that talks have taken place to make the Justin Bieber vs. Tom Cruise fight happen.

Earlier in June, TMZ reported that calls were taking place to make the Justin Bieber vs. Tom Cruise fight official. Dana White was a guest at the Hashtag Sports 2019 and he confirmed that discussions have happened. Event moderator Jason Gray asked if Dana White was contacted to put the fight together. White confirmed the news. Regarding the call, he said:

As crazy as that sounds, that is true. … I don’t want to use any names, but I was at home on a Sunday, and I got a call with two big guys on the phone. They were telling me this could possibly happen and this could be real. I’m like, there’s no way that this is really going to happen. But if it does, call me back. I’m in.

Justin Bieber called Tom Cruise out on Twitter in early June. In the tweet, Justin Bieber publicly challenged Tom Cruise to a fight in the Octagon. While Tom Cruise has yet to respond, Justin Bieber has stated that the Tweet was only a joke. UFC president Dana White was contacted about the battle. Bieber later backed out. Dana White has stated he’s down for the battle. Here’s the tweet from Justin Bieber’s Twitter:

In the meantime, Tom Cruise will soon reprise his iconic role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the Top Gun sequel. Details on the film are currently under wraps, though the project is said to follow Maverick as he teaches a new generation of pilots. Included among the trainees will be a young man named Bradley Bradshaw, the son of  Top Gun character Nick “Goose” Bradshaw who died tragically in the first film. Val Kilmer is set to reprise his role as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky while Jennifer Connelly plays a woman who runs a local Navy bar.

Do you want to see Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise meet in the Octagon? Do you think Dana White will make this happen? Are you excited to see Tom Cruise return for Top Gun 2? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments!

Directed by Joseph Kosinski from a script written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz, Top Gun: Maverick stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Kelly McGillis, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, Thomasin McKenzie, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris.
