Vincent D’Onofrio is teasing his return as Kingpin for Echo and Daredevi: Born Again.

During an appearance at this year’s FanX in Salt Lake, Utah, Vincent D’Onofrio opened up about reprising his role as Wilson Fisk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reuniting with Matt Murdock actor Charlie Cox. With Fisk and Murdock set to return in Echo and its follow-up Daredevil: Born Again, D’Onofrio told fans in attendance to expect a deep exploration of the two characters.

“You guys have no idea what you’re in store for with Born Again. I know a little bit more than you guys,” D’Onofrio teased at FanX. “All I can say is, during that next series, you’re not going to be thinking about anything but the next episode. I promise… I’m trying to have to stick to the rules, so I will only say that Charlie and I are going to be given the chance to dig deeper than ever before with our characters.”

Vincent D’Onofrio also said that Echo and Daredevil: Born Again are deeply connected. “It’s like full-on in the last few episodes,” the actor teased. “It’s going to be quite something. And that leads into, of course, Born Again.”

Everything we know about the Daredevil revival

Echo wrapped production back in September, but Daredevil: Born Again isn’t expected to begin shooting until early next year. Consisting of 18 episodes, Born Again is being written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord.

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps, but the show’s 18-episode first season makes it Marvel’s biggest Disney Plus venture to date. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio were last seen in the final episodes of the Disney Plus shows She-Hulk and Hawkeye, respectively.

Daredevil: Born Again is rumored to feature the return of Matt Murdock’s best friend and business partner Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. Earlier this year, Deborah Ann Woll also expressed her interest in reprising the role of Karen Page for the Disney Plus series. Karen and Foggy were two of the main characters of the original Daredevil series on Netflix, working alongside Matt.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled to premiere in Spring 2024 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Born Again and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
