Wolverine Actor Hugh Jackman & Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds Suspend Feud For Fundraiser

Former Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman and Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds have suspended their famous feud for a food fundraiser.

Although fans never got to see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool meet on screen, the actors have been engaged in a public and friendly feud over the past few years. However, both men have decided to suspend their feud for one day in order to participate in the “All in Challenge.”

In a video posted on Instagram, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds outline the fictional history of the feud between their families before agreeing to suspend it to give fans the chance to have them both fly to your house and help you and your kids set up a lemonade stand. Fans can enter the sweepstakes for the chance to receive a visit from the Wolverine and Deadpool actors with 100% of the proceeds going to Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.

While Hugh Jackman has retired from the role of Wolverine, Marvel Studios confirmed plans to include mutants in the MCU during its presentation at San Diego Comic-Con2019. However, the studio is reportedly in no rush to introduce the X-Men to the MCU, meaning it will likely be some time before we learn who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that he is working on a Deadpool sequel with Marvel Studios. However, there has been no official word on where the third Deadpool film might fit into Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 or 5 plans. In the meantime, fans can re-watch Ryan Reynolds’ most recent appearance as the Merc with a Mouth in Deadpool 2.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Directed by David Leitch from a script written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy.
