Wonder Woman 1984 star Gal Gadot took a break from filming the upcoming sequel to put on her iconic costume and visit some young fans at a children’s hospital.
Sometimes, playing a superhero can be more than just an acting gig. Heroes like Batman, Superman, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Wonder Woman have inspired young audiences for generations and sometimes making the day of a young fan in need is as simple as throwing on a super suit and bringing some sunshine to their life. Stars like Christian Bale and Chadwick Boseman have been seen visiting fans in children’s hospitals and now the latest hero to do so is Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot.
Gadot has been seen visiting children’s hospitals before and now a new picture shows the DC icon doing it once again. When Wonder Woman hit theaters in 2017, it inspired fans of all ages across the globe, so much so that some fans rallied for the film to earn a Best Picture nominee at the Oscars, which wound up not happening. Wonder Woman 1984 may still be over a year away from release but having the anticipated sequel cap off the end of DC’s 2019 release schedule seems pretty perfect. The Amazonian hero will also be headlining her first animated movie in a decade titled Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, due to be released at some point next year. Other DC animated movies releasing next year include Justice League vs the Fatal Five, Batman: Hush, and Reign of the Supermen.
