See Woody Harrelson Turn Into Carnage For Tom Hardy’s ‘Venom 2’

A fan-made image for Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel shows Woody Harrelson transforming into Carnage.

Even though there will be some time before audiences see Tom Hardy face off with Woody Harrelson in the Andy Serkis-directed Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the actor behind Cletus Kasady gets a symbiotic makeover as this fan art imagines the murderers new look. Earlier this year, Venom 2 set photos gave fans a first look at Harrelson reprising his role (presumably) after Kasady breaks out of prison and it was pretty hilarious.

The fan art comes from digital artist William Gray on Instagram and shows off Carnage’s blood red look alongside his snarling teeth. Hopefully, we’ll get to see Woody Harrelson let loose as Cletus in his human form as well as in his symbiote before he faces off against Tom Hardy’s Venom. It’ll also be interesting to see if the sequel will just adapt the Carnage origin story or if it’ll lean into a certain comic book plot. You can see the fan art of Woody Harrelson as Carnage for Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel below.

The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers – transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script written by Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Ron Cephas Jones, and Woody Harrelson.
