It looks like Zachary Levi is getting ripped for his role in the highly-anticipated Shazam! 2.

One of the hot topics for the first Shazam! movie was that Zachary Levi didn’t look muscular enough to play the titular superhero. The body shaming of the actor was totally uncalled for and now it looks like Levi is going to shut those haters up for the sequel. Earlier this week, Levi took to Instagram to repost a workout photo of himself and it’s obvious that the actor is getting ripped.

You can check out the photo of Shazam! star Zachary Levi below.

Zachary Levi recently appeared in a virtual panel where he revealed his hopes for the Shazam! sequel:

“The truth is, I don’t know much because they’re still working on the script. I know some general stuff and I’m super stoked about all of the general stuff that I’ve heard. But ultimately what I want, I want the movie to be better than what we gave people the first time, which I think was a really good movie.”

Here is the official synopsis for Zachary Levi’s Shazam!:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for all the latest updates on Shazam! and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube account for more great video content!
