A new still from Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead reveals a surprising Easter egg for his cut of Justice League.

While many fans are excited to see both Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead on Netflix and his Justice League cut on HBO Max, nobody expected the two franchises to collide. But a new still from the upcoming zombie movie revealed a sneaky reference to Snyder’s DC film hidden in plain sight as the crew (featuring Dave Bautista, Tig Notaro and Omari Hardwick) break into an abandoned casino in Las Vegas.

The new Army of the Dead still from Entertainment Weekly quickly surprised fans as the vault the team break into actually has the Justice League Snyder Cut in the vault. Without thinking too much into it, does that mean the director himself exists in the Army of the Dead universe? Regardless, it’s a fantastic Easter egg that points towards to the fun nature of the zombie movie. And from Dave Bautista’s recent comments about working on the film, it sounds like fans will be in for a good time. Take a look at the Justice League Easter egg below.
