Justice League director Zack Snyder has teased a Knightmare vision for Cyborg in his upcoming cut of the superhero film.
Dubbed “the heart” of the upcoming cut of Justice League, the character of Cyborg didn’t have much to do in the theatrical version of the film. Zack Snyder has been upfront in saying that the forthcoming HBO Max film will feature cut content that we’ve never seen before, including the likes of which that will showcase Darkseid and Martian Manhunter. With such a large showing of new footage, fans have been curious to know how Ray Fisher’s Cyborg will fit into the brand new cut.
Over on Vero, Zack Snyder was asked by a fan if Cyborg had a Knightmare vision of Superman being controlled by Darkseid seconds before the character was brought back to life. Snyder, who continues to respond to fan queries, responded with a wink emoji.

This doesn’t necessarily confirm Cyborg having a Knightmare vision but the fact that Zack Snyder responded to it makes it feel likely. Cyborg having a Knightmare vision would be an inspiring choice as it allows the character to have more depth, as well as reservations towards Superman – the same way Batman did in Batman v Superman. The Knightmare sequence in Batman v Superman was one of the highlights from the film so it’d be a pretty hard sequence to top. Most recently, Synder teased the debut of Green Lantern in Justice League. Oddly enough, he replied with the same wink emoji.
