Director Zack Snyder thanks the Justice League fans who raised money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

While there has been a small minority of fans who acted questionably when campaigning for the Snyder Cut’s release, the majority of the movement spent their time raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention after the heartbreaking death of Zack Snyder’s daughter. Following the news that the director’s original vision of Justice League will arrive on HBO Max, Snyder took to Twitter to thank fans for their fundraising efforts after reaching an incredible milestone.

Zack Snyder posted an image of the Foundation’s logo with the Justice League symbol in the middle to thank fans for raising over $200,000 for charity. The director thanked fans by briefly saying that their efforts mean lives have been saved, noting the amazing work the movement has put in over the last few years. Take a look at the tweet below.

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
