Justice League director Zack Snyder says that Harry Lennix’s Martian Manhunter is watching over the titular team.

The official announcement of Zack Snyder’s Justice League sent the internet into a complete frenzy, including those who were meant to be in the movie. After the announcement, Harry Lennix teased his role as Martian Manhunter via a tweet. Lennix, who played General Swanwick in Man of Steel, was originally supposed to be revealed as Martin Manhunter in Justice League but the scene was cut from the theatrical version of the film. Now, responding to Lennix’s tease, Snyder has hinted at Martian Manhunter watching over the team.

Taking to his Vero account, Zack Snyder posted Lennix’s tweet, with the words “watching over them all” as his caption. You can check out the director’s post below.

Zack Snyder has definitely used some choice words by saying “watching over them all”, implying that Martian Manhunter is more than privy towards the Justice League’s various exploits, including their recent battle with Steppenwolf. Lennix was originally going to transform into Martian Manhunter at the end of the team up film but sadly the moment was cut out of the final film. With the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League officially announced, we may finally see the major revelation.
