Zazie Beetz gave an update regarding her potential MCU debut as Domino in Deadpool 3.
It’s been nearly four years since we last saw Deadpool on the big screen. In his sequel, we saw Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson alongside other beloved X-Men characters including Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz). With the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, fans were excited to see that Deadpool would officially be implemented into the MCU with Deadpool 3.
Although we know that Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role in Deadpool 3, some fans are curious about whether or not we will see another previous cast members make their MCU debuts as their respective characters. In particular, fans are hopeful to see Zazie Beetz reprise her role as Domino. Well, Zazie Beetz was at the red carpet premiere of the FX comedy series Atlanta, which she stars in alongside Donald Glover, Brian Tyree Henry, and Lakeith Stanfield. Variety had a chance to catch up with her and ask if she knew anything new regarding Deadpool 3, as well as her potential MCU debut as Domino:
“I heard Deadpool 3 has a director [laughs]. So I have heard that, yeah!”
Zazie Beetz is certainly hopeful to return as Domino in the MCU. Fans for the most part enjoyed her performance as Domino, and to see her return in Deadpool 3 would be pretty exciting. If she were to join the MCU, she’d be the third main cast member of her series Atlanta to be part of the franchise, which included Donald Glover as Aaron Davis in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos in Eternals. Here’s hoping that we see Domino make her MCU debut soon, whether it is in Deadpool 3 or another project.
