The Batman Robert Pattinson Zoe Kravitz Catwoman

A new concept design shows Zoe Kravitz suited up in Catwoman’s classic comic book costume for the sequel to The Batman, in which she appeared opposite Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne.

Warner Bros. and DC’s The Batman presented a gritty, grounded version of Gotham City during Batman’s second year as a crimefighter. Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne wore a homemade suit of body armor as Batman while Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman wore a simple balaclava as Catwoman.

With a sequel to The Batman now officially confirmed, there may be opportunities to see these characters’ costumes evolve as their stories continue. This design imagines Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman adopting her iconic comic book design.

Selina Kyle Gets Her Classic Catwoman Look

The design from artist “jaxsonderr” on Instagram places Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle in her comic-book costume as Catwoman, giving the character her signature cat-ears and all-black bodysuit. It borrows heavily from Catwoman’s “New 52” look. This saw Batman’s sometime-enemy, sometime-lover incorporating a pair of goggles in her mask. Check out the design below.

Whether or not Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle will reunite with Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in the sequel to The Batman is not yet known. The film ended with Selina leaving Gotham behind, while Batman was forced to admit he couldn’t leave the city that still needs him.

However, if the sequel to The Batman does bring its central characters a step closer to their iconic comic book designs, this concept for Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman could be a fair indicator of what to expect from the DC Comics movie.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as the Penguin and Barry Keoghan as The Joker.
