This Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania producer teases the release window for the film’s first trailer.

Marvel Studios is set to wrap up Phase 4 this Autumn with the releases of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters as well as Werewolf By Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney Plus. In 2023, Phase 5 will begin, and the first major film to be released will be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The upcoming third entry in the Ant-Man franchise had its first footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel in July. The footage has yet to be released publicly, but fans should have something to look forward to in the very near future according to producer Brian Gay. While speaking with One Take News, Gay gave fans a hint at the first trailer’s release window:

“You know, I’m very excited to share that project with you guys early next year. At the moment, one thing I enjoyed about this movie is we’ve always joked that Ant-Man movies go small but this one’s going to go big! We were able to show some things at D23 and we will have more coming in the fall and of course ahead of the premiere early next year but I will say it’s fun to have the whole family back and they’re gonna go quite a big adventure that I think it’s going to feel like a real departure from the previous films.”

Based on what Brian Gay stated above, it seems very likely that by the time Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters, fans should be able to get their first glimpse at the third Ant-Man movie.

Quantumania gets even bigger?

As someone who was in attendance at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel, I had the opportunity to see the scale of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and compared to the previous two, this looks more massive than both of them combined. Given that Scott Lang was an integral member of the Avengers in the events of Endgame, it makes sense as to why the further exploration of the Quantum Realm will lead to drastic consequences – especially when Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) is involved.
