In a trailer released for Batman: Arkham Origins, fans are able to see an epic fight between Deathstroke and Batman. The trailer was created by Tim Miller’s Blur Studio. Miller became a major name in the comic book movie industry when he helmed the breakout sucess Deadpool for 20th Century Fox.

Watch the video here:

As previously reported by The Wrap that Deathstroke will be the main antagonist in Ben Affleck’s Batman movie. At time time, no casting has been announced or other details surrounding the role. After all, the solo Batman project doesn’t have an official release date yet.

What fans do know is that Affleck has been writing the script of his solo Batman movie alongside Geoff Johns for the past year. The movie is rumored to feature a large ensemble of iconic Batman villains, so there’s a chance that Deathstroke will not be the only bad guy in the movie.

This video shows the two comic book heavy weights going round for round, if this doesn’t get you excited for Ben Affleck’s solo Batman film…we aren’t sure anything will.

Affleck must have seen then and then figured, “What the heck.”… showed it to Geoff Johns, and they realized that since Tim Miller had already done the best Justice League movie (or snippet of a movie) out there (below) why no just steal from the best.

DC dropped the ball in not giving this guy the whole shebang and have him direct Justice League. Even Snyder stole some of the best fight scenes from his DC Universe Online clip for the Batman v Superman fight with Doomsday (watch in the end when Superman flies in from Space and knocks Luthor in his armor against the building – scene for scene what happened).

Marvel also dropped the ball not scooping him up IMO. He could have been given the keys to the kingdom to make a proper Inhumans sub-universe within the MCU.
This is a guy who understands comics and comicbook characters and stoytelling.

Now Fox have him for Deadpool and there’s no way he’s escaping their clutches.

Miller’s previous work (the best DC stuff ever done, IMO):

    THIS,.. is THE Justice League…..
    ….as it should have been……

(They can still get him for Kingdom Come ;))

Tim Miller did a great job with Deadpool, but there are other directors who can direct these superhero movies and do a great job. Unfortunately, Zack Snyder isn’t one of them.

Miller’s work on the title sequence of Thor: Dark World is the only thing I think I liked about that movie though.
