Doctor Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.
Benedict Cumberbatch is having quite an exciting season. Not only is he hot off of the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as headlining the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he is also currently hyped up as one of, if not the frontrunner for the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his acclaimed performance in The Power of the Dog. As a recipient of numerous awards this season, he is looking to add yet another honor to his collection: a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
According to the official Hollywood Walk of Fame website, the actor will be honored during a ceremony on February 28, 2022, which will be available to stream live at 11:30 am PST.
Along with his role as Doctor Strange in numerous films in the MCU, Benedict Cumberbatch is known as one of the most-acclaimed actors in the world, thanks to his roles that include his Emmy Award-winning performance in BBC’s Sherlock, and his Academy Award-nominated performance in The Imitation Game. At this year’s Oscars, he currently competes against the likes of Javier Bardem, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, and his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Andrew Garfield.
