Charlie Cox’s suit was so close to perfection! New concept art from She-Hulk: Attorney At Law reveals designs for a comic-accurate Daredevil suit.
For as controversial as She-Hulk: Attorney At Law was, fans almost unanimously agree that Charlie Cox killed it in his return to the role of Daredevil. Plenty of praise was heaped onto his comic-accurate yellow suit. Yet it seems the costume could have been better, as newly released concept art for the series confirms Matt Murdock was originally meant to sport the iconic Double D’s across his chest.
While it’s a shame She-Hulk: Attorney At Law held back from going all the way with making Charlie Cox’s costume as comic-accurate as it could be, fans did love the homage to his iconic yellow suit, even if only for a single episode. And while his logo is still missing, it seems Marvel is returning to a more classic red design for his costume heading into Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil’s Costume Future In The MCU
With his iconic red suit coming in Daredevil: Born Again and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law giving him the classic yellow, fans are mostly content with the costume variety that Charlie Cox has had in the MCU. However, it’s clear that the studio still has a few more designs up their sleeve when it comes to future variations on the suit.
The most obvious missing costume design is Daredevil’s Shadowland suit, which is primarily black with red accents. While Charlie Cox won’t be donning it himself, concept art has been confirmed that the suit’s design will be represented in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Though with it being heavily rumored that Kingpin will fight the webhead on the silver screen, it wouldn’t be shocking if Cox brings the black suit with him as a nod to his Netflix prototype suit.
