Elektra may finally be heading to the MCU! A new rumor suggests Elodie Yung will return to her iconic role to make a cameo in Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again is set to be a truly historic series for the MCU. While only having a short nine episode run, the series is set to feature the return of dozens of iconic characters, including Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page. Yet if the rumor mill is to believed, one of the most iconic character’s from the Netflix era may be making a cameo.
A post from The Beyond Reporter has seemingly revealed that Elodie Yung will make her return as Elektra in Daredevil: Born Again. Her MCU debut is reportedly set to be later in the series, likely episode 6 or 7. However, the scooper took care to say that a lot was thrown out when the project went through its creative reboot, suggesting the cameo is far from set in stone.
Will Elektra Appear In Daredevil: Born Again?
It wouldn’t be a shock for Elektra to make a small cameo in Daredevil: Born Again. It’s been made clear that the project will make the original Netflix series canon to the MCU, with many villains such as Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin reappearing in the show. Given how prominent Elodie Yung was in the back half of Daredevil‘s lifespan, this rumor lines up with the project paying homage to the past will setting a new tone for the future.
However, this is far from the first rumor about a Netflix hero making their MCU debut in the series. For years there has been a rumor that Krysten Ritter would return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again, oftentimes being stated to play a significant role. As of now, there’s no way to tell which of these reports and which are simply fluff.
