Between rumors that Foggy Nelson and Karen Page were cut from the show and smack talk from former stunt coordinators, fans have become restless with Daredevil: Born Again. However, Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio teases fans just need a bit of patience for the Disney Plus series.

Fans have been worried about what the MCU would do to Daredevil ever since Marvel’s Netflix contract expired. While Daredevil: Born Again seems to be taking some steps in the right direction, the absence of key characters like Foggy Nelson and Karen Page has left fans worry about the quality of the Disney Plus show. Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, responded to these concerns with a call for “patience”:

As much as fans may hope, Vincent D’Onofrio’s tweet likely isn’t in direct reference to the complaints about Foggy Nelson and Karen Page being absent, as Deborah Ann Woll has confirmed her absence in Daredevil: Born Again. However, it should give fans at least some hope that the Disney Plus series won’t entirely ruin the character in the transition from Netflix to the MCU.

What to expect from the new Daredevil series

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps. Jon Bernthal, Sandrine Holt, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James and Michael Gaston are set to appear in the series opposite Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and executive producing for Marvel.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled to premiere in Spring 2024 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
