Suicide Squad director David Ayer has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the movie featuring Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang.

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad introduced audiences to George “Digger” Harkness, a.k.a. Captain Boomerang, a DC villain who made his comic book debut in the pages of 1960’s The Flash #117. Played by Jai Courtney, Captain Boomerang is set to return to the big screen in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, which is currently in post-production.

Earlier this week, David Ayer shared a never-before-seen photo from the first Suicide Squad movie, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at himself working with Jai Courtney and Katana actress Karen Fukuhara. In the photo, Courtney and Fukuhara can be seen in full costume as Ayer shows them how to perform a scene from the movie.

Over the past few days, David Ayer has been sharing never-before-seen photos from his time on Suicide Squad as well as new details regarding his original plans for the movie. However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the team in his upcoming movie.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad stars David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Jai Courtney, Joaquín Cosío, Nathan Fillion, Joel Kinnaman, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, and Michael Rooker.
