The Time Variance Authority has long since been rumored to play a role in Deadpool 3. A new photo suggests Owen Wilson will return as TVA agent Mobius in the Ryan Reynolds threequel.
Rumors that Owen Wilson would appear as the TVA agent Mobius in Deadpool 3 stem back to late last year when Hollywood insider Daniel RPK reported on his Marvel Cinematic Universe return. While no official word has been given on the Loki star’s appearance in the film, a brand new photo places Wilson in London, the same city the threequel is filming in.
Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?
The first two Deadpool movies were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio’s acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. Deadpool 3 is being written as the first movie in the series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
