The latest trailer for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine has been released on Best Friends Day, and the trailer contains new footage which spoils the reveal of two characters. Check out the trailer below

“I hope everyone gets to work with their best friend at least once in their lifetime,” Reynolds said on social media. “I know I can’t wait to finally do it.” #BestFriendsDay #DeadpoolAndWolverine ❤️💛

“I scratch his back,” Jackman replied. “He stabs mine.”

If you look closely, you can see the reveal of Ladypool, or at least her legs, and the current rumor is that it is Mrs. Reynolds herself, Blake Lively playing the role. The other contender being spoken online is that Taylor Swift is playing Ladypool, even though she was also rumored to playing Dazzler.

“I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer.” director Shawn Levy said when asked at CinemaCon about the Taylor Swift rumor. “You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that.”

“I will say as I said earlier here at CinemaCon. The proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie is fabulous. Because no one will ever know the truth until July 26th.”

Our money says it is Mrs. Reynolds in the role. In another blink and you can miss it moment, Juggernaut appears for a tenth of a second in the Best Friends trailer.

While Shawny levy is right that nothing can be known for sure until Deadpool 3 comes out, the director seems to be ignoring the numerous rumors that have already been confirmed about the movie, such as Cassandra Nova being the main villain. Though perhaps those rumors being right is exactly why he doesn’t wish to spoil Taylor Swift’s potential cameo!

Deadpool and Wolverine is currently expected to be released on July 26, 2024.
