New ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Synopsis Teases Raunchiest Marvel Movie To Date

Deadpool does the MCU dirty!

Deadpool and Wolverine

Did Marvel make a mistake with Deadpool and Wolverine? The film’s newest synopsis has the heroes fed up with having to save the day.

Deadpool and Wolverine is going to be different than anything Marvel has ever done before. Blood, guts, and pegging are far from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s squeaky-clean branding. It seems even the synopsis is taking this idea to heart, with the film’s newest description taking an unorthodox approach to spreading the word about the project.

“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date—Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existenal threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to—F**k. Synopses are so f**king stupid.”

Leaving the synopsis’ use of four-letter words aside, it actually does provide fans with confirmation of key details about Deadpool and Wolverine’s story. While it was clear that Wolverine is reluctant to suit up for his MCU debut, it was only ever implied that Wade Wilson is through with being a hero. If the internet is to be believed, it’s usually just fans tired of participating in Marvel movies!

Deadpool Is Marvel’s Future (And Its Jesus)

Most people wouldn’t associate the savior with such raunchy language. However, it’s clear Deadpool and Wolverine is exactly the second wind Marvel needed for its multiverse saga. It’s likely Hugh Jackman isn’t done with the MCU either, with rumors suggesting he’ll return for the next Avengers project.

In fact, mutants in general seem to be the cure for Marvel’s troubles. A recent insider report suggests that the MCU’s future lies, not with the Avengers, but with mutants like Deadpool and Wolverine. More specifically, The Fantastic Four and X-Men will be taking the main stage in a similar way to Deadpool in future phases.

Deadpool and Wolverine is currently expected to hit theaters on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
