Deadpool 3 is rumored to be a culmination of Fox’s X-Men universe as it transitions into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld teases the film will have cameos that will blow fans minds.
Rob Liefeld has never been a stranger to hyping up projects involving Deadpool, and it seems Deadpool 3 is no different. Following rumors that the film will act as the Spider-Man: No Way Home for the Fox X-Men universe, Liefeld weighed in to fan the flames of hype, teasing that the film will “melt your face” and that the cast list is stacked beyond belief.
“Some stuff I was aware of, I had to be quiet before it was announced,” Liefeld told Nuke the Fridge. “I knew Hugh and Ryan were getting back together for ‘Deadpool 3.’ I’ve been very fortunate people put stuff in front of me. And trust me, all I’m saying is, I saw that cast list. I think people are just going to freakin’ get blown away, and I’m not saying shit more than what I just said.”
While Rob Liefeld is definitely holding his tongue, his excitement does clue fans in that something big is in store for Deadpool 3. While it may or may not be a true crossover of Fox’s X-Men universe as is being rumored, it seems as though Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine may not be the biggest name on the cast list.
