Three incredible new magazine covers deliver a stunning look at the cast and characters of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune.

Denis Villeneuve fans were treated to a new look at the director’s upcoming science-fiction epic Dune thanks to three stunning new covers of Empire Magazine. The first focuses on the Atreides family, putting Timothee Chalamet at the forefront of the cover alongside Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac and Rebecca Ferguson. The new covers arrived online shortly after the news that a teaser for the film will play exclusively in front of Tenet before the full trailer is released on September 9.

The other covers for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune show off Javier Bardem, Zendaya as the Fremen, Sharon Duncan Brewster as Liet-Kynes and Jason Momoa’s Duncan Idaho. Fans saw the first images from Dune back in April, but the recent covers offer a focused look at the main characters. But most impressively of all is the subscriber’s edition of the magazine, which reveals the first look at the nightmarish Sandworms from the planet Arrakis. The design almost looks like a cosmic black hole rather than a giant worm, but it just adds to the mystique of the Denis Villeneuve film. Take a look at the three Empire Magazine covers below.
