Eugene Cordero is set to play a bigger role as Casey in Loki‘s next season as a series regular.
In Loki season one, Eugene Cordero made a quick impression as Time Variance Authority employee Hunter K-5E, otherwise known as Casey. He notably used Infinity Stones as paperweights and couldn’t comprehend what a fish was in the show’s earlier episodes.
Casey Will Return!
Deadline has now revealed that Loki season two will feature more of Eugene Cordero as Casey since he has been promoted to a season regular. Cordero’s credits also include The Mandalorian, Kong: Skull Island, and Ghostbusters.
Loki season two is currently filming in the UK. Set photos have primarily given us our first look at Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, and Owen Wilson at a retro McDonald’s. The upcoming season was also present at D23 earlier this month, where it was revealed that Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan has joined the series as a TVA archivist.
The first footage from Loki season two was also shown to those who were in attendance for the Marvel Studios presentation at D23. Based on the footage, season two will deal with the aftermath of Kang the Conqueror being unleashed, see the God of Mischief reunite with Mobius, and chase Sylvie.
Here is the synopsis for the first season of Loki:
In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
Directed by Kate Herron, with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, the series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Loki season two will premiere next summer on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the MCU, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
