Rumors about the Fantastic Four cast have been floating around for months, with some claiming that Ebon Moss-Bachrach is playing The Thing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot. During a recent interview, the actor kept things coy about his potential involvement.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach has been topping fan-casting lists to play The Thing in the MCU thanks to his phenomenal work as Richie on The Bear. Last year, rumors started that the actor had officially been cast in the Fantastic Four reboot. While he’s kept quiet up until now, the actor gave a non-committal response to the reports during a recent interview with The Wrap, saying “Oh, I can’t confirm or deny… I think.”
While many would take Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s refusal to deny as confirmation he’ll be playing The Thing, many actors who haven’t starred in any MCU projects have refused to respond to rumors just out of respect for the process. With the Fantastic Four cast said to be finalized, it wouldn’t be shocking to find out who really is starring in the reboot sometime soon.
