New set photos from the Gotham Knights pilot provide a look at Bruce Wayne’s funeral.

Gotham Knights is the latest DC series looking to make its way to The CW, with filming on the pilot starting this month. Like Batwoman, the hopeful CW series will find a way around using Batman by declaring the character dead right from the jump.

Now that filming is underway, set photos from Gotham Knights‘ shoot in Hamilton are starting to surface online, giving us our first look at what we might be in store for. One set of photos in particular from Twitter reveals Bruce Wayne’s funeral, which will likely take place early on in the pilot. You can check out the set photos below.

Here is the premise for The CW’s pilot:

In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.

Written by Batwoman‘s Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams, the pilot will star Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela Dent, Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley, Fallon Smythe as Harper Row, Tyler DiChiara as Cullen Row, Misha Collins as Harvey Dent, Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown, and Rahart Adams as Brody.
