‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Poster Teases Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk Debut

Marvel Studios has unveiled the official poster for Captain America: Brave New World, following the release of the movie’s first trailer. The poster features an eye-catching image of red fingers gripping the iconic Captain America shield, confirming what we all The transformation of Thunderbolt Ross into Red Hulk has been highly anticipated by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Red Hulk’s Marvel Cinematic Universe debut follows the announcement of Ford taking over the role from William Hurt, who originally played Ross starting in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk and passed away before reprising the role in Captain America: Brave New World. The first glimpse of Red Hulk, which came at the end of the Captain America 4 trailer, has already taken over the internet.

It’s currently unclear if Harrison Ford’s General Thunderbolt Ross will be the main threat of Captain America 4 as The Leader (played by Tim Blake Nelson) is also set to appear in the movie. His Marvel Cinematic Universe future after Brave New World is also unclear.

Despite being one of the earliest comic characters to appear in the MCU, Thaddeus Ross has only played a supporting role thus far. The character’s transformation into Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World will also mark his transformation into a full-on villain in the MCU.

What to expect from the Captain America sequel

Julius Onah is directing Captain America: Brave New World, working from a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The cast of the movie also includes Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas as Sabra, with Xosha Roquemore on board in an undisclosed role.

Captain America: Brave New World is currently slated to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
