A new concept design imagines Superman actor Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel from the Justice League of Tomorrow.
Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which is set to receive a brand new, overhauled cut that will match the director’s original vision for the superhero team-up movie. While Cavill is in talks to return as Superman in the DC Extended Universe, we previously reported that his next outing as the character won’t be a Man of Steel sequel. Currently, there’s no telling what Cavill’s Superman will offer to fans. Warner Bros. and DC have been doing a great job of green lighting more detailed and risky projects, such as Joker and more recently, Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut. Should they want to tell a more captivating Superman story than audiences are used to, Warner Bros. should look no further than The Justice League of Tomorrow.
An awesome new fan edit from a digital artist who goes by “britedit” on Instagram shows Henry Cavill’s Superman with the Justice League of Tomorrow suit. You can check out the fan edit below.

@ssnyder1835 Superman design from Justice League of tomorrow is still one of my favourites! The concept design does a great job of showcasing Superman’s aged and wised look, with the grey hair a fantastic choice to show how far Henry Cavill has come. The main star of the show is, of course, the sleek gold-emboldened Superman suit that spews excellence and grace. A Justice League Of Tomorrow movie could actually work well within the current confines of the DC Extended Universe and could serve as a great way farewell to characters like Superman or Wonder Woman, should the studio want to retire them. Alternatively, a parallel story showing the young Justice League and the Justice League Of Tomorrow could also serve as an exciting time at the movies. There’s no telling when Cavill will return as the Man of Steel, but if there ever was a perfect opportunity, it’d be a Justice League Of Tomorrow movie.

Other DC projects currently in development at Warner Bros. include The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, The Suicide Squad, and Shazam! 2. Meanwhile, Cavill can be as Superman in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis for the Justice League movie:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
The film is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Henry Cavill’s possible return as Superman and Zack Snyder’s long-awaited director’s cut of Justice League and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content in the future!
