Photos from the set of Marvel’s Deadpool 3 have revealed a face-off between Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. In the photos, shared by DailyMeal.com, the two iconic Marvel characters are depicted engaging in a thrilling action scene.
In the latest Deadpool 3 set photos, Ryan Reynolds is spotted in his familiar red and black suit. On the other hand, Hugh Jackman, an actor synonymous with Wolverine, is seen donning his traditional yellow costume, which was unveiled in the first official image from Deadpool 3.
In previous Deadpool installments, Ryan Reynolds has humorously referenced Jackman’s Wolverine, often in a jesting manner. With the set photos confirming Jackman’s presence, Marvels fans can now expect some of this banter to come to life.
Deadpool 3 once again features Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth, with Hugh Jackman co-starring as Wolverine. The two characters have a long history in the comics, but the two haven’t shared the big screen since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
