The Suicide Squad director James Gunn recently fired back at a fan criticizing Margot Robbie and Harley Quinn, calling the star one of the best he’s worked with.

While many fans are respectful to actors and directors, there’s always a minority who feel the need to blast the choices made in movie-making. However when someone criticized Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn on one of James Gunn’s most recent posts, the director fired back at the insults in the comments. Most fans were overjoyed by Harley Quinn’s new look in The Suicide Squad when the first footage from the upcoming film dropped at DC FanDome at the start of September.

James Gunn recently posted a fan-poster of Harley Quinn and King Shark from The Suicide Squad which highlights the obvious insane action in the upcoming sequel. But one fan in the comments criticized using Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in the film and suggested the director was annoyed at being forced to use her in the film. The director quickly retorted that Dr. Quinzel is easily his favorite DC character while called Margot Robbie the best actor he’s worked with. Take a look below.

“GTFO, she’s probably my favourite DC character. And Margot Robbie is probably the best actor I’ve worked with, bar none.”
