Anya Chalotra is set to make her DC Universe debut as Circe in Creature Commandos. Series creator James Gunn recently took to social media to showcase a beautiful concept design for the DC villain.
Fans instantly fell in love with Anya Chalotra as Circe the moment she was cast for Creature Commandos, viewing The Witcher alum as the perfect fit for the iconic DC Comics villain. While details about her role in the DC Universe have been kept under wraps, James Gunn took to social media to share yet another gorgeous speculative design by artist davi_a86 on Instagram. The artwork by artist Dani Alves, which was shared on Gunn’s Instagram stories, can be seen below.
It’s unclear what role Anya Chalotra will play as Circe in Creature Commandos, especially given James Gunn previously implied she won’t be a series regular. While it’s possible the character is relegated to a simple cameo, the series will likely be only her first appearance in the DC Universe, expanding into other projects like the upcoming Paradise Lost series. Though only time will tell exactly where this fan-favorite DC villain will end up next.
