Jamie Foxx Electro Spider-Man Tom Holland Spider-Verse

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Jamie Foxx has confirmed his return as the villainous Electro.

On Thursday, it was revealed that Jamie Foxx is in talks to reprise his role as Electro in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3. Naturally, this raised a lot of questions on whether we are getting a multiverse situation with Foxx playing the same Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, or if he will be playing a new version of the villain for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jamie Foxx took to Instagram confirm that he will be playing Electro in the next Spider-Man film. His Instagram post was taken down, but screenshots of its caption reveal that Electro won’t be blue when he returns to the big screen. The post also included fan art depicting a live-action Spider-Verse. You can check out some screen grabs below.

Do you think Jamie Foxx is playing a new version of Electro? Are we finally getting a live-action Spider-Verse? Are you as confused as we are? Comment below and let us know!

Here is the official synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Far From Home:
