Jonathan Majors will return to the MCU as Kang the Conqueror in Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and a new concept design shows him in Kang’s classic purple mask.

The Disney Plus series Loki saw Jonathan Majors make his MCU debut as He Who Remains. However, after this character was killed by Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie, the Multiverse was unleashed, paving the way for his even more tyrannical Variant, Kang the Conqueror, to emerge.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will mark Kang’s first MCU appearance, as the villain faces off against Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang in the Quantum Realm.

Kang The Conqueror’s Classic Costume In Quantumania

A concept design shared on Instagram by artist “” shows Jonathan Majors suited up in Kang the Conqueror’s original comic book costume for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

The first trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was recently shown to San Diego Comic-Con attendees during Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con presentation and revealed Jonathan Majors’ Kang sans his classic costume. However, the film’s first poster suggested he may don the costume at another point in the film.

With Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige confirming Jonathan Majors will be appearing as multiple Variants of Kang, it is possible that some versions of the character may don something resembling his classic costume, such as the look seen in this design, while others may stray further from convention.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released next year, when fans will finally be able to see how Jonathan Majors’ Kang compares to his comic book counterpart.
