The rumored HBO Max release date for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League has been debunked.

Earlier this year, DC fans were given a huge shock when it was revealed that Zack Snyder’s unfinished cut of Justice League would be released on the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. Then, during the DC FanDome event, Snyder revealed that the cut would be released into four parts. Snyder did not reveal the official release date of his cut, but for a moment, it seemed like the people behind it accidently leaked it.

Yesterday, an image from the DC Press site revealed an apparent release date for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League for HBO Max. The image had a September 2021 date stamped on to it but was not verified in any official capacity by Warner Bros. or HBO Max. Now, HBO Max itself has denied that this will be the release date for the cut.

According to Collider’s Steven Weintraub, the reported September 2021 release date for the Zack Snyder cut of Justic League is not accurate. Weintraub contacted the representatives of the streaming service, who flat out denied that this would be the release date of the highly-anticipated Snyder Cut.

What do you all make of this? Could there be some truth to the rumors for a September release date for Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
