Eternals VFX Supervisor Stephane Ceretti recently teased a possible appearance from Kit Harington’s Black Knight in Blade.
The post-credits scene for Eternals caught up with Kit Harington’s proto Black Knight, where we see him open up a box containing the Ebony Blade. The scene then leads to the MCU debut of Mahershala Ali’s Blade, who we hear in the background.
The Eternals post-credits scene has led to speculation that Kit Harington’s Black Knight will make his next MCU appearance in Blade. Marvel Studios VFX Supervisor Stephane Ceretti has now added some fuel to the fire after telling ComicBook.com that Black Knight’s weapon will appear in Blade:
“The funny thing is my second on the show, which is Martin Lawson my additional supervisor, is actually going to be supervising Blade very soon. So I told him, I said, ‘I’m giving that to you as a gift, use it wisely and make good out of it.’ But I’m sure it’s going to do actually even better.”
Blade will begin filming this summer, with Bassam Tariq serving as the film’s director. The Marvel project will star Mahershala Ali and Delroy Lindo.
Eternals features the MCU debut of Blade and Black Knight. Here is the film’s synopsis:
The story takes place across two time periods. One storyline is set in the past when they operated as a formidable team and a close family unit. The second storyline is in the present, when the group has fractured and split apart, content to live among humans, hiding in plain sight. The prevailing threat of the Deviants, which once again threatens the existence of mankind, means the Eternals need to put their differences aside and regroup.

The cast of the Marvel Studios project includes Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Harry Styles as Starfox, and Mahershala Ali as Blade.
