Negative Man goes Super.

Doom Patrol Matt Bomer Superman Henry Cavill

Doom Patrol star Matt Bomer trades in his bandages to gear up as the next Superman to replace Henry Cavill in this new concept that imagines the future of the DC Extended Universe.

It’s been months since fans last heard news on whether Henry Cavill is reprising his role as Superman in the DCEU, but a stunning new concept reveaywhat Doom Patrol star Matt Bomer could look like in the blue and red tights. Bomer is probably best known for his roles in Magic Mike and White Collar due to the fact that he only physically appears in Doom Patrol during flashbacks showing his character before his transformation into Negative Man.

Matt Bomer’s chiselled jaw and dark hair make him an ideal replacement for Henry Cavill, and he has even voiced the DC Comics hero in the animated movie Superman: Unbound. However, the Doom Patrol star has mentioned that he prefers Negative Man over the man of steel. The concept shows Matt Bomer as Superman using a shot from Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he definitely looks the part. See the stunning concept down below.

Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
