The upcoming Ms. Marvel series for Disney Plus has added Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to its helming roster.
News around the various upcoming Marvel Disney Plus series has been heating up lately. Earlier this week, the upcoming She-Hulk series not only announced that it had added a director to its roster but also had cast Tatiana Maslany as the titular hero. Now it appears that Ms. Marvel is following suit.
In the comics, Ms. Marvel, also known as Kamala Khan is a Pakistani teenage girl who also happens to be an Inhuman and is the first Muslim character to headline her own book. The character specifically idolizes Caral Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, and took up the name as a tribute to her favorite hero. Last year it was officially revealed that a Ms. Marvel series was in development at Disney Plus. Since then we’ve only had rumors to go on as to who may be joining the series. Now, however, we finally know who will be directing the series.
According to a new report, Bad Boys for Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be among those directing the series. In addition, Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will also helm at least one episode of the series as will The Walking Dead, Titans, and The Punisher director Meera Menon. There is currently still no word on who will be playing Ms. Marvel.
