Longtime X-Men actor Patrick Stewart has a hilarious response to a question regarding a role in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness.
Ever since Disney bought out Fox one of the big questions that have been on the mind of fans is when the X-Men will be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and who may reprise their roles from previous films. Typically speaking, the two actors everyone is curious about are Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Up until recently, however, Marvel Studios hasn’t dropped the slightest hint.
The last time we saw Patrick Stewart as Professor X was in the 2017 film, Logan. The movie was widely considered to be the best X-Men film to date which saw both Stewart’s and Hugh Jackman’s respective versions of their characters meet heartbreaking endings. However, it seems that Stewart just may be coming back to play Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Earlier this month, Marvel Studios revealed a new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It contained all kinds of insanity but one of the most eyebrow-raising moments in it was a man who says “We should tell him the truth.” That voice distinctly sounds like Patrick Stewart causing many to believe that he was in the film as Professor X.
Since the trailer reveals, Patrick Stewart hasn’t confirmed that he is involved in the film but hasn’t exactly denied it either. Recently the actor dodged the question by saying that people have been impersonating his voice for years, suggesting that this may be such a case. More recently, the actor asked a question regarding the film and had a hilarious response, acting like he didn’t know who Doctor Strange was. You can see the full video below:
