Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has revealed he is getting back into superhero shape for the Marvel antihero’s upcoming arrival in the MCU.
Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox’s movie studios, the film rights for Marvel characters such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four have been returned to Marvel Studios. Deadpool’s association with the former group means Deadpool 3 will be taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ryan Reynolds recently appeared in images shared by trainer Don Saladino, revealing the Deadpool actor was hitting the gym for the upcoming sequel, possibly suggesting filming on Deadpool 3 starts soon.
Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort
In a recent Instagram post, Don Saladino can be seen accompanying Ryan Reynolds for a training session with the caption “and so it begins…” hinting that the actor is shaping up for Deadpool 3.
To dispel any doubts, Saladino included two emojis – a red dot and a pair of crossed swords, referencing Deadpool’s iconic red suit and dual katanas. While no details are given on what fans can expect from Deadpool 3, Reynolds wouldn’t be training unless the start of production was imminent.
