A new behind-the-scenes photo from Marvel Studios’ Black Widow shows off a new look at Scarlett Johansson working on her solo film.
It’ll be some time before Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow arrives in theaters after Disney decided to push the film back to 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic, with Eternals and Shang-Chi also finding new dates across next year. Hopefully it should be worth the extended wait and Johansson herself recently opened up about Natasha Romanoff’s death in Avengers: Endgame and how Black Widow fulfills her whole arc throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But a new set photo from makeup artist Deborah Lamia Denaver revealed the star taking a break on the set of the espionage thriller, posing with director Cate Shortland. It’s a little different to the previous image revealed from Black Widow, which saw the hero facing off against Taskmaster. Due to the set seen behind Scarlett Johansson, it seems likely the photo was taken around the scene where she reunites with Red Guardian, Yelena Belova and Melina Vostok. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes shot below.
