Star Wars is finally colliding with the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Daisy Ridley is the center of a rumor about a mysterious role in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.
Star Wars actors have become quite chummy with the MCU in recent years. While the most high-profile example is Harrison Ford, he’s not the only star from the franchise attached to a role in the Marvel universe. John Boyega was infamously the first name to hit the rumor mill to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, and Daisy Ridley was infamously up for the role of Spider-Woman in Sony’s pocket universe.
Yet now it seems Daisy Ridley may have yet another shot at joining the MCU. A rumor from MyTimeToShineHello suggests that the Star Wars breakout is being eyed for a role in Spider-Man 4. No specific role was listed for the actress. However, given she’s headed back to Star Wars to helm a film focused on Rey’s journey after the last trilogy, it’s likely that Marvel has a big role in mind for her.
Who Will Daisy Ridley Play In Spider-Man 4?
If this rumor is true, the obvious answer for what character Daisy Ridley would play in Spider-Man 4 is Spider-Woman. Specifically, Jessica Drew. Marvel obviously had the Star Wars star on their mind for the role way back in the day, so it would only make sense to cast her if they were ever intending on properly bringing the character into the MCU.
However, Spider-Woman isn’t the only character Daisy Ridley could play in the MCU. Some believe that the actress could play Black Cat, who has been heavily requested to appear in Spider-Man 4. Going off her space theme with Star Wars, Ridley could also play more sci-fi characters from the character’s Rogues gallery, such as Olivia Octavius (Doctor Octopus) or Francine Frye (Electro).
