Spider-Man: No Way Home has broken the Vudu sales record previously held by Avengers: Endgame.

Ever since it hit theaters in December, Spider-Man: No Way Home broke numerous box office records. As of right now, the Tom Holland film sits comfortably as the third highest-grossing film of all-time at the U.S. box office and is sixth in the all-time global box office numbers. Now, with an upcoming home release coming in March, it has broken an all-time record previously held by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame.

Media Play News reports that Spider-Man: No Way Home is Vudu’s top-selling preorder title of all-time. The film, which will be available on digital platforms on March 22, 2022 easily broke the record held by Avengers: Endgame, with just under a month away from its official digital release. For fans wanting to own the film on physical media, it will hit stores on April 12, 2022.

Vudu is owned by Fandango, and managing editor Erik Davis shared the following statement in response to Spider-Man: No Way Home breaking the record previously held by Avengers: Endgame:

“‘No Way Home’ is one of the biggest superhero movies ever made, and a historic event for film fans, which makes it the perfect movie to add to your home collection… fans will want to relive every thrill, laugh, and emotional moment, and to share them with their friends and family. It’s no surprise that it’s Vudu’s hottest pre-order title of all time.”

Both Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home serve as unprecedented culminations of film series. The former served as the conclusion of over 10 years of storytelling from the MCU whereas the latter served as a narrative that united three generations of Spider-Man movies together in a cohesive story.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:

Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
